All soccer coaches should :-

have the necessary qualities, competence and confidence to instil desirable attitudes, skills and understanding of the game of Association Football.

foster the development of creative, imaginative techniques and ensure that all footballers develop a wide range of techniques

promote the necessary levels of fitness for the game

inspire players to develop physial and mental strengths to the maximum of their potential

cultivate persistance, patience and commitment

be responsible for promoting a disiplined enthusiasm for the game of football and for fostering and maintaining the highest standards of honesty and integrity

experience, as a prerequisite for acceptance into the profession, specific employment training, as is the case in most well developed football nations

have the necessary characteristics, know-how and experience to cope with their responsible task of dealing with young talents or practicing professionals in an intelligent, safe and highly professional manner
